Global eCommerce Content Specialist

Job Description

The role of Global eCommerce Content Specialist is new in the organization and  has as aim to strongly accelerate our growth in ecommerce by developing our content strategy to be fit for purpose, by mapping and developing most effective ways of working across internal teams, globally and at local market level and externally with the agencies. 

Responsibilities:

INTERNAL
•    Develop content strategy across all eCommerce channels to drive content from Good to Better to Best – Fit for Future (consumer generated content)
•    Ensure content is best optimized across all retailers platforms, meets the needs of local markets’ shoppers/consumers and ensures JDE products are easy to find & buy, with ultimate objective to maximize conversion
•    Develop Content Playbooks that outlines all content types and best in class examples
•    Overall develop best in class basic and advanced content tailored to each Retailer for core range, NPD and artwork of retail media activations
•    Constantly identify current gaps and develop and action close the gap plans
•    Monthly and quarterly reporting on content scorecard via MRD’s QBR at global and local level

CONTENT CREATION
•    Lead the creation process from brief to execution 
•    develop and set in place relevant methods for tracking ROI
•    Support marketing projects to ensure best in class visuals assets are being created 
•    Close management of agency partners – briefing, providing assets, feeding back and approve eCommerce content
•    Work closely with wider content teams and marketing teams

CONTENT IMPLEMENTATION across eComm channels
•    Work closely with local markets to map best and most effective ways of working
•    Ensure clear roles and responsibilities are deployed in alignment with all functions

For this role as a Global eCommerce Content Specialist, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
•    2-4 years’ experience with content creation and implementation and working in relevant online content roles
•    Experience in content strategy development & roll-out
•    Experience in online asset management
•    Collaboration skills to work across teams
•    Ability to create strong relationships across internal departments and external agencies
•    Ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

However we are willing to look outside the above for the ideal candidate that can drive game changing strategies and tactics.
The role is located in the Global eCommerce team in Utrecht. The role will require some travels in European markets and potentially in broader regions out of Europe.
