Job Description

This position assumes direct reporting to Procurement Manager UAEECA in Kyiv, Ukraine. Dotted line reported to Strategic Buyer is responsible for UA, EECA&MEA countries in DM category and to Buying Manager in Kyiv, Ukraine who is responsible for UAEECA countries in HR, IS, Marketing, Professional & Sales category.

With aim to leverage local market knowledge and specifics, we are currently looking for Buyer position, who will be responsible for direct & indirect materials and services, provide strong linkage to local market and allow to perform business needs & objectives.

The key responsibilities will assume administration and coordination of Procure to Pay process on the domestic level (KZ), close cooperation with stakeholders, local and foreign, informative and operational support, with guidance of Regional purchasing team to provide support in market evaluation, tenders running, analysis, preparing reports.

Qualifications

 Key responsibilities

  • Track KPI performance on local level with support/coordination of Sr.Buyer (cost & cash initiatives, timely projects launch, daily stakeholders’ requests etc.)
  • Build effective cooperation with internal stakeholder
  • Establish fruitful cooperation with suppliers, manage supplier relationship
  • Perform market and offers evaluation through tenders and benchmark exercises
  • Lead local tenders for KZ to obtain the best terms on the market
  • Negotiations with external clients (suppliers, agencies, etc.)
  • Perform cost analysis, create and manage optimization initiatives
  • Lead purchasing part in cross-functional projects, projects coordination (NPDs, specification changes, supply chain initiatives support)
  • Contracts/annexes preparation and signing, considering legislation and tax requirements and aligning within the cross-functional team
  • Procurement policy compliance, initiation and approval control of proper documents
  • Suppliers validation according to agreed company procedures

 

Qualification requirements

  • University degree
  • Purchasing experience in an international company
  • Work experience in FMCG company is preferred
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and autonomously in uncertain environment
  • Good analytical and communicative skills
  • Diligence and accuracy
  • Result oriented
  • SAP knowledge (optional)
  • English intermediate
  • Flexibility
  • Teamwork
