Global FP&A Analyst

Job Description

In your role as Global FP&A Analyst you will cooperate with the Global FP&A Director to drive financial performance of the company by reporting, analysing and making recommendations to optimize the financial business performance. This includes providing support throughout the company as regarding the performance analysis, annual operating plan (budget) development, forecasting and capital analysis. You are part of the ‘Global FP&A Reporting & Analysis Team’ residing in the JDE Peet’s head-office in Amsterdam. This is a high-impact team, being close to the CFO and Executive Committee of JDE Peet’s.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute KPI analysis including revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures;
  • Provide proposals on actions and internal and external messaging;
  • Contribute to the planning and development of the annual operating plan budget
  • Contribute to preparation of key management team meetings (Executive Committee, etc.)
  • Execute the development of financial models to analyze various business opportunities and cost savings initiatives;
  • Execute periodic financial analysis (backward and forward looking);
  • Support the further automation of our processes and deliverables.

For this role as a Global FP&A Analyst, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting (QTEM is a plus);
  • 2 years’ work experience would be a great start, however we are also looking forward to give opportunities to graduates (our fast paced, high growth company is a great learning and development environment);
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking (driving simplicity);
  • You have exceptional interpersonal qualities, you’re pro-active, eager to learn and highly motivated to boost your career;
  • You’re known as a team player and bring strong verbal communicational skills in English.
