Job Description

The Brand Manager is responsible for portfolio deployment, range management, brand media and campaign execution, artworks adaptation and development, brand budget management, compiling and sharing key market insights to conform agreed brand meaning and visual identity. The role reports to the local Marketing Manager and has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Integration of Brand Equity

  • Translates the brand strategy guidelines into local marketing campaign by managing the local execution of advertisement and promotion activities;
  • Responsible for executing local brand activation by using above- and below-the-line instruments within the context of central brand activation guidelines;

Pricing Strategy Implementation, AOP and other planning

  • Conducts competitor/ market place analysis for the brands;
  • Accountable for pricing strategy implementation for brands, NPD’s, promotions and in store executions;
  • Responsible to propose volume targets for the brand/s which feeds into annual demand forecast
  • Participates and helps in preparation of S&OP process;
  • Collects and analyses the financial information and relevant market data in order to be reviewed together with the Local Marketing Manager and included in the planning process;


  • Performs marketing budget controls and spending tracking, leads evaluation of marketing programs’ effectiveness. 

Support Regional Strategic Planning & Innovation Process

  • Responsible for compiling local knowledge and key market insight and sharing this information with the central marketing organization for potential innovations and trends on responsible brand;
  • Manages product adaptations within the context of central innovation decision making and coordinates all activities within the scope of local launches of New Product Development or Product Adaptations;

Media & Communication

  • Participates in the media planning process, strategy of media mix, supporting the development of the Media Flowcharts relevant for the brand
  • Co-leads  external communication activities (including social media) and participates in relationship with local media, all in line with the communication and media strategy as defined by the Local Marketing Manager;

 Product range & Packaging

  • Responsible for local range management to ensure a sustained yield of rangeland products while taking into account range resources status;
  • Translates brand packaging design guidelines into local brand artwork;
  • Coordinates artworks implementation for redesign, productivity projects etc.;


Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in product development, building and execution of advertising campaigns and working with Nielsen data;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and high level of PC literacy (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word);
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Project management skills and result-oriented approach in daily tasking;
  • Strong personal leadership and analytical skills;
  • Self-driven, proactive and capable to find non-standard solutions and think out of box;
  • Pursues opportunities and loves to inspire others;
